No Turkey for Beasley

After intriguing the media last week by his decision to cook his own turkey while staying in Manhattan over Thanksgiving break, senior quarterback Jonathan Beasley didn't get to baste a bird.

"The smallest they had when I went to the store was a 16-pounder. That wouldn't fit into my oven," said Beasley, who had hoped to test his culinary luck with a turkey about half that size. "I ate at a friend's house. It's not my fault. When I went back to the store, they had restocked and they had smaller turkeys, but then it was too late."
